Spanning almost 100 square kilometres, there’s a good variety of wildlife found here, from otters and monitor lizards to macaques and tree crabs hiding amongst the thick mangroves. During the migratory seasons (September to March), you can spot birdlife of varying species, including kingfishers, white-bellied fish eagles and kite eagles.

Langkawi Mangrove Tours – Langkawi offers some truly unforgettable sights and experiences on this tour to the Mangrove Nature Park; an escape to another world. Spread over an area of 100 sq km,  beautiful mix of well-protected green mangrove forests, isolated white beaches and blue lagoons. As you cruise down the calm, winding river, you will observe the wonders of the park’s marine ecosystem, its flora and fauna and the natural inhabitants such as the over-hanging ‘Bogak Trees’, Brown Eagles, Tree Crabs, Monitor Lizards and Macaques.

Also, enjoy the scenic and spectacular views of unique limestone rock formations emerging from the floor of the mangrove swamp and seabed. These fascinating geological wonders have been given various names such as the Temple Of Borobodur, the Elephant Stone and the Hanging Gardens. Explore the Gua Kelawar (Bat Cave) and seeped in fabled tales of mysteries and romance. Finally, enjoy watching the farming of fish in specialized farms in the open sea.

Itinerary
Meet At: Tanjung Rhu Jetty.

Experience nature closes up during the mangrove tours and you will drop at Bat Cave which is the habitat of Malaysia bats.

Then you will be brought to the mangrove ecology area to observe the natural inhabitants, marine ecosystem and floral fauna.

You will drop by at Floating Fish farm to enjoy watching the farming of a variety of fishes and marine life. There’s also a stingray feeding show.

After that, you will bring for the eagle watching and you will see the eagle swoop all around you.

The boat takes you to the edge of the Kilim river and you get a view of the vast Andaman Sea – the view of the open seas is certainly a sight to behold.

Cave exploration to see the stunning geological formation in the cave. During the low tide, the boat can pass right to the cave but during the high tide, you will only see the cave from the outside.
